Take the best photo of your glider during the eclipse!

On the morning of Friday 20th March, a full or partiel eclipse* of the sun will be observed in Europe between 08h10 and 10h50GMT, and the further North you go, the larget the moon’s crescent will appear against the sun. The percentage of sun covered by the moon will vary between 66% in Corsica, Southern France, 85% in Dunkirk, Northern France, and as much as 94% in Scotland (UK).

*Warning ! Observing an eclipse without the necessary protection can be damaging to your eyes. Special glasses or filters should be used and can be purchased from opticians and specialist astronomy outlets.

Post a photo of your paraglider and the eclipse in the same shot

accompanied by a descriptive caption on the Rock the Outdoor FB events page « I flew the eclipse ».

– Photos : black and white / colour
– Scene: paraglider on the ground or in the air

Small rules

**Photos will be submitted March 22 last delay on the event’s Facebook page “I Flew the eclipse“. The competition results will be announced on 25 March.
