The new UP Trango XC 3 par UP Paragliders (EN C)
EN The LTF EN-C certified Trango XC3. This is UP’s answer to a high-end cross-country wing.
The wing is designed for experienced cross-country pilots, and provides the pilot with an improved, more efficient handling in addition to greater stability, even in strong conditions. It climbs well thanks to it’s aerodynamic leading edge which is a new feature.
The Chief Designer Frantisek Pavlousek and the team worked hard over a two year period, making over 20 prototypes to build and improve on the existing model. Using the latest UP technology, by incorporating features of the latest comp wings, the Trango XC3 is a new generation of aerofoil, with leading edge top-skin rods, mini ribs, and lightweight materials.
The canopy is made of the highest quality Porcher Skytex fabrics. A combination of 27 and 32g materials make the wing durable ,yet light and therefore easy to launch, as you can see in their promotionnal video taken in Pedro Bernardo and Tenerife.The MS-size comes in at under 5kg and the M-size a few grams more. Other sizes are currently undergoing testing.
