NOVA Mentor4 Light – performance with no tricks
Nova say it is a performance “all-rounder” using key features taken from the Mentor4. This three-liner light version has been optimised with a single seam top sail improving overall performance and handling.
Other key features are the perforated profile and diagonal ribs adding to the strength and durability of the canopy as well as reducing the weight. The Nova Air Scoop technology optimises air intake to the leading edge, increasing internal pressure and airflow making the canopy more collapse resistant.
Made with 27g fabric it weighs between 3.25kg for the XXS (PTV55-80) and 4kg for the M-size (PTV 90-110). The glider is easy to launch even on complex terrain. Although certified EN-B it does require a degree of piloting skill and is therefore not recommended for the occasional or beginner pilot.
