2016 Paragliding Winter Cup competition
The 2016 Cat2 competition season kicks off with Paragliding Winter Cup from Lijak, Slovenia, taking place from the 5-9th March 2016. This flying arena at the foot of the Julian Alps in Slovenia provides a good mix of mountain, hill and flatland flying with tasks of varying distances stretching from Nova Gorica’s Lijak to Tolmin and Kobarid.
Well known as a competition encouraging young pilots to join the comp scene, all under 28’s receive a €20 discount on the entry fees whilst others can benefit from an “early-bird” of €95 instead of the full €115.
Also included in the comp fees: transport, lunch packs, goal beers, live tracking, maps and more… and with prize money up for grabs and trophies to win for Sports, Fun, Junior and Female categories, get your fingertips at the ready for registration opening at 10am on the 23rd December!
