Popularity for the Polish Paragliding Open
Although the dates have been added to the 2016 calendar later than most countries, within minutes of opening registration the Polish Paragliding Open 2016 was virtually a full-house.
The popularity of this competition has been due to the excellent organisation hosted from Head Office in Camp Gabrje, the choice venue of Tolmin, teamed with the best time of the year to benefit from the backdrop of the Julian Alps in Slovenia, and Meet Directed by the professional “no-nonsense” Karolina Kociecka.
Airtribune is managing online registrations and selection criteria will be based on WRPS ranking as of 1st April 2016. This Cat2 competition positions itself as one of the most sought after Cat2 events on the calendar, largely due to the level of pilot skill. It sees some of Central Europe’s most prolific pilots attending and by the end of the week, Poland will have crowned its new 2016 champions.
