INTRODUCTION
Summer has come to an end in Europe, and as the Southern Hemisphere springs to life, autumn puts a dampener on thermal activity closer to home. What better time of year than now to focus on some of the other elements to paragliding.
During the next few months we will be running a series of articles on paragliding techniques. The ability to become a better pilot will come from drawing on advice, tips and tricks from the professionals and those who have many years of experience. But it will also depend on how much effort you put into practicing those techniques to perfection.
There may be several ways to master a technique and with so much advice at hand, if one particular way doesn’t work for you, try another, however, take care to ask for help and advice from the right people. Be honest with yourself about your failings and keep practicing until you get it right.
