A picturesque soaring flight at Cap Canaille on the Cassis coast just 20km from Marseille

.Flying at Cap Canaille is long awaited by many in the Provence area because of the complex coastal aerology and conditions which need to be perfect in order to fly above the cliffs between Cassis and La Ciotat.
The site, with its committing take off on the 400m cliff top is flyable only when there is a substantial breeze because of the zero landing options below, (unless high enough to reach the Cassis beach)
