Back in time with “Super Max”, an acrobatic paraglider student
Inspired from the silent movies of the past, the comical Super Max films won over the Jury at the Coupe Icare Film Festival in 1987.
Watched in the present day, Super Max 1 and 2, both entertaining in their own right, offer the viewer the additionnal comical element of witnessing “old-school” paragliding equipment back in the days… « Super Max 1″, a film by Philippe Bernard who won the first prize at the Coupe Icare in 1987, and “Super Max 2”, tell the tales of the trials, tribulations and catastrophic adventures of paragliding instructor (played by Philippe Bernard) and his student (Claude Ammann), in their endeavours to teach and master the techniques and sport of paragliding. Both films compilations garantee a laugh and were put together with a great deal of humour and comical sound effects, and are a light-hearted alternative in comparison to some of the films we find out there today.
