A coloured sky at Albuquerque’s balloon festival
Each year the city of Albuquerque (New Mexico – USA) hosts the largest balloon festival in the world. Hundreds of balloon enthusiasts gather for the event which traditionally take place in October and has done for the past 43 years. For all balloon enthusiasts, the festival is a pilgrimage to the sport and leaves spectators in awe of the beauty as each morning the skies fill with coloured balloons. This timelapse sequence was taken from the 2014 festival and is a feast for the eyes. This year the event will be held between the 4th-11th October.
