Hey! I am first heading line feel free to change me
Half English/half American, Anthony and Tim Green are 2 twin brothers who moved to France for several years to study international business and film. They spent much of their childhood pushing the limits of there favorite sports: skiing, wakeboarding and sailing. At the age of 16, there passion for adventure led them obtain their private pilots license to fly but it wasn’t enough. Shortly after the twins discovered paragliding and finally found the ultimate sport. Taking it to the extreme like every other sport aerobatics was an obvious choice and the twins progressed quickly becoming world renowned pilots. Today they continue to live out their passion (paragliding and paramotoring). Tim, who works with BGD manufacturer and video production (Cloudbase productions) became a dad and already shares his passion to his daughter Isabelle, 5 years old…
Last summer, Tim took his daughter Isabelle on a little two-day sky camping adventure from his local site in Annecy, France. After taking off from “Planfait”, they climbed over “Dents de Lanfont” to land at the top of a mountain near “La Tournette”. They walked up a bit to find a campsite for the night. At night, there was an unusual storm forcing them to walk down to anther safe take-off the next morning. Fortunately, the clouds cleared and the wind died down for a smooth flight and soft landing, marking the end of their first adventure together in the sky.
This winter, Tim went again with her daughter for a new sky camping adventure in Val Thorens, France. Equipped with a paramotor, skis, a mini-tent and rations for the night, the two flew up and landed sofly near the Parc National de la Vanoise. Isabelle stayed tosty warm wrapped up in a Himalayan suit, as Tim prepared camp for the night. A storm arose at breakfast forcing them to ski down instead of flying, marking the end of their second adventure in the mountains.
The next adventure will be set in spring 2017 sailing and paragliding to explore Lofoten in Norway. To be continued.
