Weighing in at just 1.7kg for the 16m2, the UFO can accelerate to a speed of 43km/hr by using the “RAM-AIR-Strut” concept. This describes the pressured closed V-shaped cells. The self-inflating tubes give the wing stability in all types of flying conditions.

Air Design recommend the UFO to pilots with previous mini-wing experience and says it handles similarly to a conventional glider, however the pitch control does take some getting used to.[/reveal]
