Nova Ibex 3 designed for all levels of alpine pilots

The new wing from NOVA, the Ibex 3, super-light and performance orientated, designed by alpinists for flying in alpine conditions.

Nova’s new Ibex 3 is a superlight wing designed by alpine pilots for alpine flying. Previous models of the Ibex (1 & 2) had been designed for the lightweight category, but this time around the Ibex 3, although following the same theme, have varied the weight ranges to incorporate an XXS for the more experienced pilot. For the XS and S sizes, the wing will position itself comfortably within the EN-A category and have excellent glide and thermal performance for its category.

An all-round mountain wing, resistant, easy-handling with all the performance

The NOVA Ibex 3 was designed for use in difficult and rough terrain; the lines are more rigid and the leading edge and upper surface made from an anti-abrasive, resistant material. Launching and in-flight handling are very simple. Both offer the pilot a high degree of passive safety when flown within the recommended weight range.

Choose the NOVA Ibex 3 best suited to your kind of flying

NOVA Ibex 3 has been designed for 3 different types of flying depending on the in-flight weight range:

– Leisure: the Ibex 3 has a high level of passive safety and an efficient climb rate. The weight range is equivalent to recommendations for flying a standard paraglider (for beginner pilots).

– Hybrid use: Speed and agility are sought after without compromising on the climb or thermal efficiency. Perfect for those pilots wanting a fast and agile wing with easy handling that benefits from an increase in speed when loaded and can be flown in higher winds (not recommended for lower airtime pilots).

– Speed: For pilots wanting a playful wing. Lively, agile and faster to fly, whilst retaining a respectable overall performance (for the more experienced pilot).
