NEW EN-B WING

MCC Aviation Explora due in May 2016

MCC Aviation brings you their new glider, Explora, which is expected to pass certification as an ENB for release in May 2016.

The Explora has been designed to make flying amazingly easy.  Designed for the talented beginner and more experienced pilot looking to fly cross-country, the Explora weighs only 4.1kg, launches easily, and flies with conviction and efficiency in any conditions. The Explora comes in four sizes: XS- L for a weight range between 50kg-120kg.

MCC Aviation have introduced some original features into the design, notably the Adiprene, mylar and nylon, which reinforces the leading edge to ensure constant tension throughout the canopy reducing wrinkles and improving air flow, SVB (strength vector balance) which optimizes the internal structure by giving tension to the diagonals, and integrated pockets on the underside of the canopy to help reduce vibration.

Brightly coloured sheathed Dyneema lines make preparing the glider on take-off easy and also controlling the canopy during the launch phase. Packing away is also hassle-free due to the double 3D shaping of the leading edge. MCC Aviation say that the wing can easily be packed away using any traditional packing configuration.
