“Millau 26th June 2015, 07h30am…we are leaving soon. Antoine, Blandine and I load up the assistance vehicles. We leave to fetch Debu the last member of staff en route and also 4 British pilots who are also coming on the adventure with us, from Nice airport. Our destination: Gourdon, in the hills behind Nice, which is our departure point for the 2015 Alpine Adventure.
The Alpine Adventure is to cross the French Alps on a paraglider, from the mediterranean sea to Chamonix, flying through the heart of the highest mountains in Europe. This one-week journey, dictated by weather conditions which are not always on our side, will enable us to discover some exceptionnal landscapes. This edition 2015 is without doubt one to savour.
Despite the complex start with the wind from the North and often too strong, the motivated pilots were able to fly every day. Their objective was reached in 5 days, the peak was there, suddenly close to us, and the reward was the flight on the Mont Blanc…”
