Crowdfunding helped Ferdinand get to the XAlps

31yr old Ferdinand van Schelven, 2015 XAlps participant representing the Netherlands, crowdfunded for support in this year’s event. For each donation, he sent a sticker asking them to write him a message. Some of them can be seen on his glider in the photo below. Quite an original sponsorship strategy, if any of you happen to be considering participating in the XAlps 2017 edition!
