The Greens smash world paramoteur record in Chamonix
Twin brothers Anthony and Tim Green smash the world altitude paramotor record above Mont Blanc Chamonix in France.
In this article and their video filmed for Epic TV, the brothers describe how they prepared and broke the world record above Europe’s highest peak in Chamonix, the Mont Blanc, to an altitude of 5066m.
Conditions were perfect but timing was crucial. Taking off from base camp at 3500m they encounter tricky conditions just below the previous record height of 4600m. Their decision to move to a different mountain face enabled them to penetrate the inversion, riding a strong thermal which released off the summit of Mont Blanc, to set the new world record for both the brothers and their respective passengers, Pierre Medina and Eliot Nochez.
