St Jean Monclar will host this year’s Nordic Open Cat2 event
Once again, last year’s Nordic Open was a “sold out” event, boasting a field of 135 pilots, who throughout the week enjoyed some fantastic flying conditions from Mount Curnan in Italy’s Gemona. This year also looks to become a full competition with registration having opened just after Christmas, and a growing waiting list.
The competition will take place between the 22nd June and 2nd July 2016 and is a Cat2 event. Meet Director, Brett Janaway is confident that there will be a full field at the competition due to the popular chosen venue of St Jean de Monclar, in the Dormillouse, together with dates corresponding to a reliable time of year.
Last year’s Nordic Champions, Ronny Helgessen and Mari-Anne Aarnes will be defending their titles, whilst other participating pilots will be looking to rack up as many points for WPRS ranking in this event; already known for its high calibre of pilots.
