Le FlyNet3 est un vario bluetooth sonore compact et léger. Couplé à un smartphone ou à une tablette, il transmet les données du vario et de l’accéléromètre vers votre application mobile préférée. Il peut aussi servir en vario de secours étant donné sa grande autonomie et son faible encombrement.
Jean-Baptiste CHANDELIER, better known for his inspiring paragliding films, Urban Side, and more recently, Touch, has put together an ambitious project to create a 12 metre high sand dune looking onto the Lac de Serre-Ponçon. The dune which will be 250m long, will be strategically placed along a stretch of the man-made fresh-water lake that feeds EDF’s hydro-electric power station, and is better known by pilots as the northern most tip of the Dormillouse in the southern French alps.
Jean-Baptiste, born in the area’s nearby town of Embrun, is hoping to raise the €500,000 needed to create the site, which will be an addition to the already popular site of St Vincent les Forts. The dune will offer both local flying schools and visiting pilots the opportunity to try their hand at Wagga flying without having to drive to the coast, plus a great spectacle for tourists holidaying in the area during the summer.
If all goes according to plan, the project could be completed within the next three years, that is, if the local fishermen are willing to collaborate. Their concern is that the current abundance of fresh water fish that live and breed in the waters, will be disturbed.
Very aware of the concerns of the local people, he has assured them that every measure will be taken to protect and preserve the local wildlife, flora and fauna during and after the building phase and that the project will not go ahead until it gets the thumbs up from the local community.

Horacio LLorens (Espagne), Tom de Dorlodot (Belgique) et Alex Villa (Colombie) engagent aujourd’hui une nouvelle aventure qui consiste à traverser en marche et vol la Vallée de la Cauca en Colombie en compagnie d’un parapentiste colombien Alex Villa. Ils partiront de Cali pour rejoindre Santa Fe de Antioquia en suivant la vallée de la rivière Cauca, soit plus de 400 km à vol d’oiseau.

Horacio Llorens (Spain), Tom de Dorlodot (Belgium) abd Alex Villa (Colombie) are today embarking on a new adventure; hiking and flying the length of the Cauca Valley in Colombia. They will leave from Cali en-route to Santa Fe de Antioquia by following the River Cauca valley, for over 400km as the crow flies.

It’s official! Italy’s largest Flight and Mountain Festival, the Monte Grappa Trophy Expo, is making a come back this year, this time with earlier dates. The exhibition will take place between the 2nd-6th April in Borso del Grappa, with the Paragliding and Hang-gliding Tropheo Montegrappa competition held on the 4th, 5th and 6th April.

C’est officiel! Le plus grand événement de vol libre en Italie fait un come-back cette année, cette fois-ci avec des dates antérieures aux années précédentes. L’exposition aura lieu entre du 2-6 avril à Borso del Grappa, avec la compétition pour les deltaplanes et parapentes le 4, 5 et 6 avril.
Parrainé par La Fédération de Vol Libre Italienne, le FIVL et d’autres grandes marques sponsorisent le festival, tel que Niviuk, Infinityfly, Station Alp et bien d’autres entreprises locales. Tous réunis pour faire revivre cet événement qui, par sa tradition, marque le début de la saison de vol en Europe.
L’exposition comprendra quelques grandes marques du vol libre, du paramoteur et du matériel spécialisé dans les activités de plein air. Il y aura des démonstrations de paramoteur ainsi que d’autres activités et spectacles pour les spectateurs et visiteurs durant le festival. De plus, à cette occasion, il y aura la possibilité d’essayer du nouveau matériel de cette saison.

Pour les pilotes ambitieux qui souhaitent participer à la compétition (deltaplane ou parapente), les inscriptions sont ouvertes.
La compétition Parapente, inscrite en haut de la calendrier des FAI Cat-2 est une des plus prestigieuse grâce à sa forte participation de pilotes internationaux renommés. Il est toujours possible de s’incrire, ne tardez-pas trop !

The Parafest Air Festival is to take place in North Wales on the 12th-14th June 2015, at the picturesque location of Llangollen.
Paramotor and paragliding traders will be exhibiting in the market area, where families, spectators and pilots can enjoy a number of sideshow attractions and entertainement, including chainsaw carving.
Camping will be available throughout the festival although facilities will be basic, however, there will be caterers onsite all weekend, plus a marquee on Friday and Saturday nights with live music.
For those of you coming to fly or to try out new gear, there will be daily rides up to take off and plenty of unrestricted airspace for both paragliding and paramour pilots to enjoy the popular flying sites in the area.
Even if the weather doesn’t play ball, there will be a great atmosphere!

Bruce Goldsmith Design est une société dirigée par Bruce Goldsmith (qui conçoit des parapentes depuis 1991). La recherche et le développement ainsi que les vols de tests sont faits dans le sud de la France (Gourdon). Il est épaulé par le pilote test Ant Green.
